Using the Check Now Button

The Check Now button lets you trigger an on-demand uptime check at any time, without waiting for the next scheduled check.

When to use it

After making changes to your store and wanting to verify it's still accessible
When you suspect your store might be having issues
After recovering from a known outage to confirm your store is back online
To get an immediate, fresh response time reading

How to use it

Go to the Uptime Monitoring page
Click the Check Now button in the top right
The button will show a loading state while the check runs
Once complete, your dashboard data will automatically refresh with the new result

What it does

The Check Now button triggers the exact same check that runs on your regular schedule. It pings your store's monitored domain and records the response time, status code, and availability — just like any other check.

Good to know

The on-demand check counts as a regular check and appears in your check history
It doesn't reset or affect your scheduled check timer
If the check detects your store is down, the same incident and alert logic applies
