Why Am I Not Receiving Alerts?

If you expected to receive an alert but didn't, check these common causes:

1. Notifications are disabled

Go to Settings and verify that Uptime Notifications (and/or Shopify Status Notifications) is toggled on.

2. No recipients configured

You need at least one email recipient. Check that either:

  • The Admin Email toggle is enabled, OR
  • You have additional email addresses entered

3. Alert cooldown is active

If you recently received an alert, the cooldown period may not have elapsed yet. Check your cooldown setting — if it's set to 1 hour, you won't receive another alert until an hour after the last one.

4. Downtime alert delay

If you have a delay configured (e.g., 5 minutes), and your store recovered within that delay, no alert is sent. This is intentional — brief blips that resolve on their own don't trigger notifications.

5. Check your spam folder

Alert emails are sent from [email protected]. Check your spam or junk folder and add this address to your contacts or safe senders list.

6. Store is not being monitored

Verify that monitoring is active on the Settings page. If your store was recently reactivated after a plan change, there may be a brief delay before monitoring resumes.
